IDEA

This Illustration is meant to be the first when viewed in order. With an alternative title "The Wanderer", this image is meant to represent an idea of derealization, or depersonalization, disconnect from surroundings. It encompasses the idea of "tunnel vision". This will be the most cramped and chaotic piece of all of them, taking place in a narrow alleyway, garbage everywhere, with a lost-looking character walking through what to the viewer, has an unknown beginning or end.

MATERIALS

I'm doing this illustration digitally. I used Clip Studio Paint's 3D modeling options in order to create a model to use/get an idea of perspective and lighting, and used the perspective grids on procreate in order to frame the view of this image. There is no reference photo used, and I plan on doing all the coloring in procreate. For this one, I am also considering incorporating pictures of random items and textures into the background of this image in order to give it a more realistically cluttered feel.

Since this is the first illustration, I am creating a cool toned gradient map to use that will gradually wear away into a warmer one throughout the illustrations

RESOURCES

As I said, I'm using procreate and clip studio paint, but I have no further references I'm using. I might look a little more into some artists who use mixed media to get an idea of how I want to go about incorporating Images.
