About Me 

Hi, I'm Maya Ferrante, a 17-year-old student at Monte Vista High School looking to go into the arts. I was born in Chicago Illinois and moved to the bay area at age 8.

A little more about me as a person is I'm a musician, playing in marching band and messing around with other instruments in my free time. When I'm not drawing, the band room is where I spend most of my free time.

In terms of art, my preferred media is digital, but I love working with watercolor and other mediums when given the chance as well. I've been drawing for a while now, and draw a lot of inspiration from video games, anime, and manga. I love dabbling in character design, and it will almost always be my favorite thing to do.

A common theme I love to work with is fantasy. Pushing reality past it's limits and into something new with almost no boundaries is so appealing. Designing characters for non-existent worlds that have been developed in my mind leaves so much room to do whatever you want in your art, not being held back by logic or reality.
